Tessilgodi, 2022

Tessilgodi is a Florence-based textile house whose fabrics have been quietly present at every Fashion Week for almost a century.

In 2022, Gabriele Godi came to us with a clear ambition: to make Tessilgodi visibly belong at the very top of luxury supply.

The beauty of Italian craft.

What makes Italian craft so distinctive is also what makes it hardest to dramatise: the work simply speaks for itself. Tessilgodi is no different — almost a century of fabrics produced with the same patience, the same techniques, the same belief that quality is its own argument. We approached the identity refresh with the kind of restraint that Italian craft expects: attention to detail, classical proportions, the conviction that the product itself is the message.

The new visual system — logo, typography, palette, art direction — borrows from the classical vocabulary of Renaissance Florence: the proportion of Renaissance painting, the gravity of historical typography, the colour temperatures of restored frescoes. Each element designed to disappear behind what matters: the fabric, the hand, the savoir-faire.

Shot in Florence, twice.

The defining moment of the project was the campaign photography. We shot in two places: Tessilgodi's own factory, where the looms have been running for generations, and a former Medici villa whose interiors carry centuries of Italian taste. The fabrics moved between the two — the workshop and the palace, the maker and the destination, the discipline of the loom and the elegance of the room.

Together, the images make a quiet argument: that craft of this calibre belongs in any conversation about contemporary luxury, and that Italy still makes it better.
